Attracting success, happiness and money is considered a work of magic and witchcraft. Those who are seriously interested in spiritual development associate such concepts with earthly desires as ground desires, which should not be given attention. In the meantime, does it make sense to try to clear the line between “high” and “low” and figure out what success and happiness are in terms of subtle energies? How do these concepts and attitudes transform on the spiritual path? Is it possible to combine earthly desires with higher truths?
These questions are answered by the famous bioenergeticist, winner of the reality show “Coax” on Israeli television, a representative of the International Center for Spiritual Development “Secrets of Power” Sergei Ratner.
About happiness and success
Most people mean a certain level of material wealth, fame and honor under the words “success” and “happiness.” What does it mean for you to be a successful person?
For me, being a successful person means first and foremost achieving my goals. However, the path or direction to this goal is not the last place in my life. That is why I attach great importance to the very movement along this path. The goal as such is not really that important. There must be some kind of global idea that one is striving for, and then there is constant development, which is not limited to attaining a certain kind of success or happiness or material wealth or fame and honor. Therefore, for me, the words “success” and “happiness” are first and foremost a sense of the journey, a sense of life. This is my main approach.
Speaking from an energy point of view, what is the fundamental difference between successful and rich people from the general mass? What is the secret of their success?
I can say that happy or rich people are no different from the general mass. They are the same people who, at some point, decided for themselves that they did not have time to waste their lives regretting the losses, focusing on movement simply began to move forward. This is the first option.
The second possibility is that if a person moves on his own path, then prosperity and happiness accompany him constantly throughout his life. In principle, from the point of view of energy, it is very important in this respect to keep the idea that was set in front of you, the direction of movement and not to deviate from the chosen path. This is the main part.
It is believed that spiritual development is incompatible with such “earthly” desires as success. Do you think it is possible to combine these two components in your life?
Well, first of all, spiritual development and earthly desires usually go hand in hand. Without development, there can be no earthly desires. When a person discovers some other opportunities, it is obvious that he has a desire to move on. Therefore, it is not possible to unite something, one should even try to unite the spirituality that comes from above with the physical that happens below.
After all, up and down, as has already been said, is the image and the form. Both up and down. If a person loves life, then he is happy even higher. If he is sad, if he is in despair, it is clear that the same is there. Therefore, it is very important to combine these two things. I ask you not to confuse spiritual development with religious development. Religious development is a completely different system. I mean self-improvement – that is, getting answers to your questions and applying them in everyday life.
There is a view that one cannot use spiritual abilities to improve one’s financial situation. History, meanwhile, knows examples of great spiritual masters who are absolutely poor or extremely rich. What is right?
I have answered the question “what is right” many times: it is not “right”. As you feel, that’s right. There is an opinion only on those who have not attained it, who do not know what it is to “use spiritual abilities,” as has been said. Therefore, each of the great teachers directed his knowledge in a certain direction. But let me put it another way. This does not mean that they used the knowledge to make money in some illegal way or in some other way. No, most likely it was the other way around: they got the money so that they could, roughly speaking, expand the circle of their students.
This means that they were interested in his knowledge from above and gave him the opportunity to expand this knowledge to a certain circle, say a certain segment of the population. This means that if there were poor teachers, it is clear that in most cases they were in the circle of the poor, but that is not the case. The conclusion is that a person who has attained a certain perfection understands that material is not the essence. We were not born with money, nor will we die with it. Most of them chose a certain path of development, so some were poor, others – as they said – extremely rich. The bottom line is how you feel. If he feels good in poverty and suits him, then everything is fine. If one feels that he needs a certain amount of money in life to achieve certain goals, it is clear that the Almighty gives.
About money
Money is the main criterion by which people evaluate their success. Is the goal of having a lot of money justified?
It would be more appropriate to say in which direction the person is acting. If he wants money for money – that is one part, if a person wants to move in life and needs money for it – it is the second option. My money is not an end in itself, it is an accompanying system that gives me the opportunity to promote in life something that cannot be promoted without money. We are talking about that.
And about success… I will not talk for everyone. I believe that money is not an indicator of success, because I have seen people who have money, but believe that they have not yet reached it or have become hostages of their own money.
It is said that the amount of money in a person’s life and his achievements are predetermined. Is that so and can it be changed? Is it possible to get rid of chronic pitch, attract happiness and success?
Most likely, the amount of money in a person’s life and success is determined in advance. I will not argue here, but at the time of their birth on earth, everyone has a system called “the right to choose.” This means that each person chooses for himself – whether he wants to live like this or to change his life, and let’s say open some new doors that will give him the opportunity to expand his knowledge and thus improve his situation.
It is only possible to get rid of chronic pitch again if a person has decided to get rid of it. I decided – and went. I went looking for answers to the questions. When I received the answers, I went to apply them to my life. This is the main topic. Most of us are happy with the answers. I’m not happy with the answers, I’m going to apply them in my life and find out if the answer I received works or not. Where the answers come from is absolutely irrelevant. Something came to you while meditating, you read it in a book, you saw it on TV, or your neighbor said it – it doesn’t matter. What matters is the feeling that you have received the answer, you have done it, you have succeeded, and you believe that you have succeeded.
What is the first step to success? Where to start?
Well, first of all, until you jump into the water, you won’t understand if it’s deep there or not. You can stand nearby and try as much as you want. What is the first step to becoming successful… The first step is to decide for yourself that you want to change your life from what is in what can be. And then there’s the action. Where to start – after you decide, your subconscious will tell you. The main thing is to hear in time.
Are there any rules or laws that you need to understand in order to take a new path in your life and hold on to it?
I am not familiar with such rules or laws. The most important thing in a person’s life is his decision, roughly speaking, to live well, with a sense of accomplishment, with a sense of joy, and then, as they say, God adjusts. The main thing is to catch it in time.
